Congratulations Tarlac City!! Sa ikatlong pagkakataon ay nakamit ng City Government of Tarlac sa pamumuno ni Mayor Cristy Angeles ang Seal of Good Local Governance. Ito ang pinaka-prestigious na award sa isang local government unit (LGU) dahil sa transparency, accountability, kahandaan nito sa sakuna, husay sa pagbibigay ng social at medical service at iba pa. Ang bawat LGU ay mabusising sumailalim sa tinatawag na All-in Assessment kung saan dapat ipasa ang lahat ng sampung pamantayan para sa award. Ang taunang Gawad KALASAG (KAlamidad at Sakuna LAbanan, SAriling Galing ang Kaligtasan) ay naglalayong itaguyod at kilalanin ang mga pagsisikap ng mga lokal na pamahalaan, non-government organization, at private entities sa pagpapahusay ng paghahanda at pagtugon sa sakuna sa kani-kanilang komunidad.

Kinilala ang City Government of Tarlac bilang TOP PERFORMING CITY sa 9th Central Luzon Excellence Awards for Health 2023 ng Department of Health kaugnay ng Measles-Rubella Supplemental Immunization efforts ng pamahalaan. Sa ngalan ni Mayor Cristy Angeles, tinanggap ni Coun. KT Angeles at City Health Officer Dra. Ma. Carmela Go ang nasabing parangal ngayong December 1, 2023.
