Negosyong Bigasan Para sa mga Kababaihan

Dahil sa walang sawang suporta ng Pamahalaang Lungsod sa mga programa ng Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), sa pamamagitan ng pagsisikap ni Mayor Cristy Angeles na makahanap ng pondo sa tulong ng DOLE ay naibaba at naipagkaloob ang programang Rice Trading Business, na may layuning magamit ang ipinahiram na pondong ito upang maging puhunan para makapag-umpisa sa negosyong bigasan para sa mga benepisyaryo nito mula sa tatlumpung (30) barangays, na mayroong humigit kumulang 500 beneficiaries ngayong araw, kaantabay ang Public Employment and Services Office (PESO) sa Tarlac City Kaisa Convention Hall. Malaki po ang pasasalamat natin sa DOLE dahil sa mga programang nagagamit natin para sa ating mga mamamayan sa kanilang paglago at pag-unlad. Pakiusap ko lamang po na sana ay gamitin niyo ito wisely at mapalago ang negosyong ito. Top 20 Outstanding Mayor- Kinilala si Mayor Cristy Angeles sa Gawad Pilipino Lingkod Bayan Awards bilang isa sa 20 natatanging alkalde sa Pilipinas para sa kanyang makabago at inklusibong pamumuno na nagpapalakas sa komunidad.

TEMPORARY TRUCK BAN

Starting October 14, 2024, a temporary ban is imposed on all trucks and heavy vehicles from traversing the Ninoy Aquino Bridge in Tarlac City from 6:00AM to 7:00PM. The temporary ban covers the following motor vehicles, whether loaded or empty: a. Cargo/Delivery trucks, six wheelers or more, and weighing more than 4,500 kg; b. Fuel and LPG tankers; c. Cement bulk carriers; d. Big passenger buses; and e. Other motor vehicles classified by the Land Transportation Office as heavy vehicles. The following vehicles shall be exempt from the temporary ban: a. Emergency vehicles (such as fire tracks) in times of emergencies; b. Government trucks and heavy equipment when needed in government infrastructure projects; c. Vehicles and equipment of public utility companies when conducting emergency repair works; and d. Vehicles granted special permits from the Office of the City Mayor. This is pursuant to Executive Order No. 047 which imposes a temporary truck ban is to make way for the conduct of a comprehensive traffic study and to implement experimental rerouting to address the heavy traffic congestion in the said area.

The City Government of Tarlac, under the leadership of Mayor Cristy Angeles, continues its vigorous support for the visions of the Rise and Rebuild International Foundation of aiding the poor and uplifting communities. During the visit of the foundation’s founder, Mr. Ray Goodson, together with his wife, Debbie Goodson, his children, and doctors from the University of Utah today, he expressed his appreciation to the local government and school leaders for their dedication to the well-being of the children. He also emphasized that malnutrition can be resolved and stressed the importance of collective efforts to ensure that the solution to malnutrition is a lasting change rather than a temporary one. They have also handed over thousands of doses of medicines to the Tarlac City Health Office for the deworming of children in the city. The local government and the Foundation commit to working hand-in-hand in empowering communities, promoting sustainable agriculture through the establishment of garden centers and greenhouses, and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive through having a healthy well-being brought by scrumptious and nutrition-packed meals provided by the nutrition centers.

Early Christmas treat to senior citizens, done and delivered by the City Government of Tarlac, under the leadership of Mayor Cristy Angeles. The last day of distribution of Annual Cash Benefit for this year was held this October 1, 2024 at Brgy. Willing. Additional gift food packs were distributed by Tarlac City Senior Citizens Association President Mr. Vic Angeles and Coun. KT Angeles as part of their family’s annual gift-giving.
