THE CITY GOVERNMENT OF TARLAC
Tarlac City is known as the “Melting Pot” of Central Luzon because its residents speak several dialects such as Ilocano, Pampango, Tagalog and Pangasinense.
The city has a total workforce of 1,2171 consisting of 777 permanent, 254 casuals, 35 Co-terminus, 14 Electives, one Temporary, one secondment, 2 Consultants and 187 Job Order personnel as of December 31, 2019. The increase in the total workforce for the year 2019 compared to last year’s total of 1,237 is due to the hiring of job orders whose wages were charged to two percent engineering supervision’s fund.
